Sign and Graphics Project Manager

Job Description

Job Duties

  • Own customer accounts – nurture relationships, manage sign and graphics projects and ensure satisfactory completion of projects
  • Manage production workflow using project management systems; prioritize and consolidate jobs to meet demands
  • Create and implement complete and accurate project plans and timelines
  • Coordinate cross functional collaboration across sales, design, production, and installation teams
  • Support and/or manage estimating and pricing for graphics, signs, and wraps
  • Provide timely and accurate status reports to our team, clients, and supervisors
  • Support production teams when necessary including operating production equipment and machines (printers, plotting cutters, laminators, panel saw, and more), dealing with substrates, media and materials, maintenance and upkeep, and management of materials and inventory
  • Conduct and administer site surveys to capture all pertinent details required for design, estimating, permitting, production and installation
  • Support and/or manage events division projects including customer management, artwork management, design support, scheduling, logistics and more
  • Manage permit applications including sign code research, application completion, municipality correspondence, managing drawings, etc.
  • Coordinate installation schedules and delivery logistics
  • Uphold highest levels of customer service and quality standards
  • Work with internal and external designers and customers to ensure files are prepared appropriately for production
  • Identify opportunities and develop signage strategies to fit customer needs and budget
  • Collaborate with external suppliers and 3rd party trade partners
  • Support production and installation teams including occasional physical participation
  • General office duties
  • Occasional errands and deliveries

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal) and a solid understanding of the importance of customer service
  • Consistent attention to detail, ensuring Rise Above’s quality and customer service standards
  • Strong organization and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with VersaWorks, FLEXI, Microsoft Office Products, and Adobe Creative Cloud Applications preferred
  • General knowledge of pricing for signage and graphics
  • Must learn new web applications and software with ease
  • Teamwork and team building background
  • Must enjoy and thrive working in a fast-paced, multitasking, deadline-oriented dynamic environment, including the ability to maintain high energy under pressure
  • Must be Punctual and Flexible
